In the Summer
of 2005, right after the debut of the first volume of Dark
Signs, Tom started working on the follow-up volume, with the
intention of keeping it a bi-annual series. He intended to keep
the series as the "Hollywood Summer blockbuster action flick"
equivalent in comics, and with that in mind, started the first
few pages of the follow-up volume. Unfortunately, he did not
like what came out of the penciling, ending in an abrupt stop
that would continue until late 2005, when he actually had an
idea that would change the layout and plot of the second volume,
and probably fit better with what he wanted to do, ending in the
finished volume that we have today. Besides from the first page,
nothing remained from the first draft. These are the first times
these pages are shown to anyone outside Against Studios. |
