| Well, here we are, the
official first page of Ergo {Sum}, although it's not officially the
first one that is up in the first week, but whatever. I've always wanted
to make Ergo {Sum} into a webcomic, mainly because I wanted to develop
the characters and go beyond what I had in that small issue of printed
comic. Yes, what you are reading here is just a redrawn version of a
small independently printed comic of mine, which didn't exactly do well
in sales, but people who saw it loved it (Just not enough to buy it). Go
check out the
archives if you want to read the entire first issue of the original
print. Or, even better, just hold off and read the redrawn pages
instead. Because, um, they're so much more colorful.
Random note, the last panel is a
photograph I took in Taipei, Taiwan, during my visit there. It was dark
and raining, which I thought was a scene fitting for any noir scene to
have in its opening scenes. |
